Risen (risendesign.app) is a web design program operated by Majesty International, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered in Fishers, Indiana. It serves local businesses and ministries. We design custom websites, host them on Cloudflare, make changes when clients ask through a client portal, set up Google Business Profiles, and run FiveStar, our Google review request tool. Clients don't pay Risen. Instead, they donate an agreed amount to Majesty International, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that trains young people in Cambodia in the trades and hospitality.
What we do
Most local businesses don't need a marketing agency. They need a website that makes the phone ring, shows up on Google, and gets updated when something changes. That's what we do:
- Custom websites, designed around the business rather than a template, and built to load fast on phones.
- Hosting, security and backups on Cloudflare's global network, with SSL included.
- Changes on request. Clients ask in plain words through their client portal and approve the change before it goes live.
- Google Business Profile setup: hours, services, photos and service areas.
- FiveStar, our review request tool. It asks every customer for a Google review after the job, the way Google's policies expect.
- Business email on your own domain, set up so messages land in the inbox, at a set monthly price per mailbox.
- RisenWrite blog posts, researched and written for the business, and approved by the owner before publishing.
Who operates Risen
Risen is operated by Majesty International, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in Fishers, Indiana.[1] Risen is Majesty's web design and website services program. Donations for websites, payments for monthly services, and our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are all with Majesty International. Charges for monthly services appear on your statement under Risen.
You can confirm Majesty's tax-exempt status in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search.[2]
How the donation model works
Risen doesn't send an invoice for your website. Before we start, we agree with you on a donation amount based on the size of your project, and you give it directly to Majesty International, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022.[1] You can confirm any U.S. charity's status in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search.[2]
Majesty works with young people in Cambodia through trades-based education, entrepreneurial training and Christ-centered mentorship. It rebuilds homes free of charge for the poorest rural families in northwest Cambodia, trains young men in the trades on every build, and runs Khmer Hands, a hospitality-training enterprise in Kep.[1]
A note on taxes: when a donor receives something in return for a contribution, the IRS generally limits the deductible amount to the part that exceeds the value received.[3] Ask your tax advisor how this applies to you.
Optional monthly services, like business email, review requests by text and blog posts, have set prices. See pricing.

What we believe about websites
- You own it. Your domain is registered to your business, and your content is yours. We explain why in Domain names explained.
- Fast and simple beats flashy. Most of your visitors are on a phone, often in a hurry. See our website checklist.
- Honest marketing only. No fake reviews, no review gating, no keyword-stuffed business names. See getting Google reviews the right way.
- Plain English. You'll always know what we're doing and why.
How a project works
- Talk. A short call about your business, your customers and what you want the site to do.
- Design. We design your site and share a preview link. You tell us what to change.
- Launch. We connect your domain, set up Google, and take it live.
- Grow. Reviews coming in, updates when you need them, and a site that keeps working for you.

Common questions
Is Risen really free?
Your website is: there's no invoice for it. Instead, you make a donation to Majesty International, a U.S. 501(c)(3), in an amount we agree on before work starts. Optional monthly services, such as business email, review requests by text and blog posts, have set prices on our pricing page.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Majesty International is a 501(c)(3), so donations to it are generally tax-deductible. Because you receive a website in return, the deductible amount may be reduced by its value. Ask your tax advisor how this applies to your business.
